Good DM packs out there?

[Baker]

The coolest recent DM maps I can recall are Schloss, Skull, Enraged, and ... hmmm, I can't think of anything else. That isn't a series of maps, for sure. QTDM3 is very cool as well. Some VENDMx or VDDx set is floating around out there and I can't recall if it is a recentish thing or not.

Peg is right in that the EuroQuake site has a tremendously awesome set of 150 of the best/most popular custom maps of all time.

A map reference you might find useful (not as big as Spirit's but more finessed I think):

http://www.quakeone.com/q1files/img/maps/

And another useful, but more concise, reference:

And then a big link to a lot of different references:

/Quakeworld.nu used to have perhaps the greatest maps site of any game ever, it had previews of maps and textures and such and ... well .. I hope someday it is revived again but it sure has been a very long time since qw.nu got hacked and that particular resource has been gone for close to 1.5 years now.

http://www.quaddicted.com/dm <--- biggest map depot I know of, Spirit is remiss in not mentioning it.

Yes, but I am too lazy to search the links for you. quakeworld.nu forums have all the goodies somewhere.

hey, is there any re-skinned Rangers for FuhQuake or any other Quakeworld client?

for a good mappack containing a lot of maps including most of the best dm-maps check here:euroquake

I just installed uake again after... many many years... and I have a clean install. Well somehow I found the Omicron bots and I installed those to get warm. I also removed those sucky skins But I was wondering if anyone can point some good DM packs out there since I only have the official ones.

I used to build maps myself, those exdm1...exdm6 series and some others but I have completely lost track of all the coolest, specially the ones that might have been released recently.

Any URL please?

Cheers,
