At one point I thought we were at least cool with eachother but how you act sometimes with your random negativity has me wondering about you. I won't lie I am an asshole, I'll let you know that first thing and I don't mind telln anyone how I feel about them, if your cool with me expect to get joked with and in return I expect you to joke back, I call MindzX a female name constantly, i think I dubbed him Tiff Tiff short for Tiffany a couple years back. do I expect Mindzx to trip over me calling him Tiffany? no. I call Bryant Ginger, he doesn't trip, so why do you trip? If your not my friend then let it be known, dont let me think were cool then you start trippn out on me with how negative you can be.

In the end its a game and if you allow yourself to get caught up with what people say about you over the internet then you need to get a reality check

Do you actually think thats my picture in my profile? or that any of those pictures are me in the image gallery? Noone online in this community needs to know what I look like, I submitted those pictures with the knowledge that I run the risk of being made fun of so I can't get mad when someone thinks I look funny or fat, which a couple people like to say how fat I am.

I just get fed up when I'm trying to play a game I enjoy playing and I catch negative shit left and right thats dust on my shoulder that I just have to brush off

And yeah, I recall the days when you could find a game in damn near any mod any time of day or night... We need to appreciate the players we have. Quake only dies as long as we let it die - which is my criticism with "retired players" commenting on us playing such an "old game".

Regardless of Phen's answer, given the dwindling number of players left in the game it would be a real shame to lose you. If we are all honest about it, we need everyone we can get [edit: with the posible exception of surfer ]. Trust me, having experienced once full european servers (dircon, demon, spc) suddenly becoming completely empty month after month after people moved on or became disenchanted with the game/community, it's not a path I'd recommend Especially after the commendable efforts of some like Baker/Peg/Rook/Pita/Wifi/DarkPlaces Author/Polarite/Trouby/Sassa/Jackhammer/etc to bring Quake back to the fore

Maybe I'm seeing this through something of a jaundiced view, or simply have completely the wrong idea but I can't help but think that surely a better course of action for all is to encourage ppl to stay in the game, make it a fun place to be? Following a similar episode there were some words of wisdom contributed from a very talented US quake player seemed to make alot of sense to me :
"...I always thought clans were supposed to have honor
and respect for the game and those who play it..."
However that could just be wierdness on my part

Spooker, like I said, I'lll stop talkn shit when QuadRaptor does. QuadRaptor is infamous for talking shit that he can't back up and thats fine, he can talk shit all he wants.. theres consequence and repercussion for everything though.

Notice how QuadRaptor stopped talking trash on the forums and it gets quiet? Lets hope he keeps his self in check
