Hi! I played quake a lot back in 1996-2000 and want very much to get back into the game. The problem I'm having is that I like to combine movement keys but the game isn't doing it like it used to.

For example when I press foward+right I want to go diagonal forward right (45 degrees from straight) but the game is going mostly forward with just a tiny hint of right movement (maybe 10 degrees from straight).

I do a lot of combined key movements to get eight directional movement instead of four. It makes a big difference in my game, to me.
