hello everybody!
I've been stuck for a while with my researches and wonder if some of you might have cherished to the current day different things from the early days, like game patches, hotfixes, promotional maps and such.
sadly on my part different things got lost over HD crashes between 2003-04, and backup discs never being returned to me. all I could re-access are a few point releases and offiial map packs from Q2 and 3.
now, during these last years, I haven't been able to come across the following patches for Quake 2, partly because the old id's and planetquake's ftps (pre-2000 era) are no longer with us, and partly because I haven't found them downloadable from old community pages, mirror ftps, repositories or random shareware cds I looked into.

other little things I've been on the lookout for are different installers for Quake's Abyss of Pandemonium mod...
there's a 4 archive set that Impel once made available at CDrom and Barrysworld (AOPV105A.ZIP / AOPV105B.ZIP / AOPV105C.ZIP / AOPV105D.ZIP)
and an update to ver. 1.10 that Impell released on both their website and on planetquake
ABYSS-X86-UP110.EXE
also looking for a gang of early point releases for Quake 2's Generations once uploaded to planetquake's ftp before the whole development was shut down by id.
anyway, several little things that I'd like to have or have again, from Doom to Quake, that I refuse to think they've gotten lost to time. lol
if anybody is in the will of supporting my cause, just holler!
hoping all of you are well and still playing Quake, 'cause I still do!
it's such an immortal game and it's so many people that should be thanked for making it (and still making it) live this longer.
