  • !NEW! QResurrection Quake Launcher

    Hello everyone,

Seeing as this is a Quake site with a whole section on helping people get their Quake playing started I decided to build a program to set various command line value with ease!

    Qresurrection v0.3

Its in the early stages of development but you may use it as it free of charge hehe.

    FEATURES INCLUDE

    *resolution selector
    *memory selector
    *gamemod selector
    *windowmode selector
*works with nearly every Quake client
    *inapp IHOC/Shmack server browser

Let me know if this helps anyone out I want to see more people migrate to/back to Quake myself.

    Later all.

Awesome, quake needs some nice launchers, ESPECIALLY with server browsers built in. Will your's have the ability to add servers to the browser?

Baker's also making a joequake laucher:

Duh, it means you need to install the latest .net framework from MS.

I tried it and it works fine. What's "there is no spoon" mean?

you could drop the silly bloating uneccessarry graphics

I really use my own personal quake launcher I quickly made up in VisualBasic 4

              and that's it lol

You should keep up to date with your .net framework as your other applications will work better with it.

I'd like to see it as well, Phenom.

I haven't run Windows update on my computer since 2003 and don't do MS updates because they can't be uninstalled usually.

And although I am making a launcher for JoeQuake, we can always use more launchers.

Besides, mine is so JoeQuake specific that it can't do anything else like ProQuake, etc. although I should be able to make adjustments here and there for QRack support.

Shit, ftequake kicks so much ass. I barely even dug the surface of what that could do before I left. It's amazing!

Tei quake is my second pick. There's a launcher for that too, but it's really better to understand the commands and what they do instead of relying on a launcher.

I'm going to remove some of the graphical bloat as well and make it a nicer cleaner working environment
