Don't be scurred to try different settings every now and then from the help-vote slections.
I like to change the settings up to just make the gameplay different from time to time. I get tired of the same ol gameplay over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
so, sometimes i'll vote off the hook, spawn shields etc. just to mix it up some and make the game a little less boring. People instantly try to vote it back on and leave mad if its not voted back on. i'm just saying, play a little you spoiled little bastards! geez, why does it always have to be your way! haha.
It's bad enough we are playing the same maps we've been plaing for 10 years, do we have to constantly play the same settings too!?! geezuz...
i've been playing at bda a little more often lately cuz of the map thing, rune drop feature and the change of rune power. Rune drop is fun too...i love that feature and wish slot had that in his mod as a voted item. it changes the gameplay style a lot.
i've had some really good fun lately with Gunter. He loves to mix up the settings and play different styles of gameplay.
it's kind of like me and boxybrown sometimes playing 2k5 football on xbox. We will turn the always fumble cheat on... haha.. it really changes football... everytime you get hit, you fumble...lol..
anyway, i'm just asking for you all to give the settings a try from time to time and don't get locked into one single thing. I guess it's related to peoples natural resistance to change. Just don't be so closed minded and try to have fun no matter what the setttings are. Believe me, they will be back to the same ol boring shit over and over again within a level or two.
