i have a theory that just might make people hate you less: shut up. all together. just dont talk. whenever you do talk, its negative. i have never once seen anything positive come from you. that is what separates you from the rest of the community. everyone else ive seen, even magnetar, has the decency to say "good fight" or "gg" or something not negative whilst ingame or on the forums. but not you. and no, that behavior did not stop a year ago. it remains a constant character trait of yours.

I am not speaking from "past experience" at all. I've watched it happen personally to other players. And who's "us" ? Because not even the dm community likes you. I par very well in DM. It's no generalization, it's simply a fact. The DM community doesn't have the patience for new players as a whole. There may be some that are nice (and believe me, you aren't one of them) to new players, but the majority is not. This is a fact.

Again, you are talking out of your ass. I am someone who TGs daily with the "crew" and you have been absent from quake and have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

1) you do not play dm with "us"
2) speak for yourself - we play daily and almost no one has a problem with me, again you're talking out of your ass. it seems you can't formulate thought without broadly generalizing 1 or 2 people's opinions. the misconception that i'm hated by everyone is perpetrated by idiots like you that can't understand every individual feels differently.
3) telling you that you're "talking out of your ass" is not an insult when you are, in fact, talking out of your ass.
4) we have been encouraging of new players as of late. i don't mean total newbies because they do not belong in dm and they're not going to do well. i mean people who make the switch from the weaker mods (ca, etc.) to dm. i have yet to see people talk trash to newcomers, you don't know what you're talking about.
5) no you do not "par well" in dm. don't make me laugh frenzy. come play with us and get stomped but stop spreading around about your "mad skrillz" when you don't even make your typical paltry appearance.
And asking for me to get banned after I verbally bodyslam you? Settle down hitler.

Not so true. The reason the newer players don't dm is because when they do connect, and attempt to play/learn, most the dm'ers just talk shit to them and it makes them not want to comeback. That's the majority of the reason you don't see more dm'ers around.

Stop talking out of your ass frenzy. I know you speak from "past experience" but you DO NOT play with us and you are making stupid generalizations. We are very helpful & nice to the new guys because we know if they learn we'll have more people to play with, they also allow us to have 4v4s even though everyone isn't amazing.

CR-MODs have different MODES, NORMAL - PRACTICE - INDIVIDUAL - MATCH.....

CTF.QUAKEONE.COM is locked in NORMAL (classic 3wave 2.0) mode which was PRE custom models/sounds etc (pickup server)

CRCTF.CLANHDZ.com is locked in MATCH mode (3wave 3.0+ compatible) plus all that ClanRing brings (stats/timer/etc)....

Adding a bellyhook to NORMAL mode isnt an abomination of the entire mod if it's geared to pickup games ONLY thus allowing RuneQuaker's a chance to play using a hook that they are used to. Sure the bellyhook (off hand hook) is less skilled but the majority of those who would use it are less adept at ctf. I'm not a huge fan of the offhanded hook myself but to call the mod crippled because there are players who requested the bellyhook is just closed minded. Heck most DM players wont play CTF simply because there IS a hook. So, if BlackKnight-DY calls ctf a complete abomination of Quake because there's a hook should I listen to him and remove the hook altogether??

CTF is no longer played which is unfortunate, it is the most fun mod there is left. CTF players combine the skills of all of the above.
