Quake: The Only Question That Matters

Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.
So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

e4m3 needs 10 more grenade launchers, 10 more thunderbolts, and 50 more big rocket boxes, and 50 more big cell boxes so spamming can be done easier than ever!e|------------------------0---------------

PapaSmurf, you just didn't spend enough time on the mod. That is the bottom line. I am not defending anything.
I play both mods when one is empty I hop to the other. You are just getting mad I beat you, like the others, in arguments. LOL! Typical guy, can't stand a female overpowering him.
All your arguments are not worth responding to. They are ridiculous and you know yourself you are wrong. Reread my previous message which provides again all of the answers to your thin presented arguments.
Spooker is on point, with the exception that I love crowded maps. I finish them in 8 minutes. Which kind of tells you it is not all luck (50-35), there, bite that.Last edited by Paradi$e; 02-13-2008, 04:20 AM.

I never said it was all luck, I am just pointing out that there is more luck involved. And not counterpoint what spooker has to say: all the quantites he was referring to (quad, pent, rl, lg, and flags) are all known quantities, ie, you know where the quad, pent, rl, lg are going to spawn, and you know where the flags are. In Rune-quake, if you are able to find a good rune immediately, that gives you a distinct advantage over your opponents.

earlier in the thread you asked what can counter someone tossing lots of time bombs and using blink rune to disappear. time bombs make lots of noise before they go off and i hardly ever get killed by them; using blink doesn't really add much to the use of time bombs because they take so long to go off that the person always has time to escape anyways. a better combo is time bombs and the stealth rune--then the bombs dont make any noise and become very deadly

ive never tried to introduce quake to any friends.. only reason my friends have computers are to communicate via email, pick up dirty broads online, or for work.. they dont even know i played quake for like 12 years, nor will they find out
but i did introduce my lil bro to quake, he played for a bit but then went back to WOW.. lame..

It is sad that newer players seek more in the graphics department rather then tight solid gameplay, something for which Quake 1 was number 1. Also many newcomers and newbies get turned off at the technicalities required to properly set up their client. Thankfully, Baker has worked on that and his newest client can set up settings and run the game on the fly.
