Quake 1 skins

I am looking for a pair of skins that complements quake... My monitor provides hardly any light so my quake is dark as fuck even with -gamma cmd and turning brightness all the way up... Need a good skin that makes chars easier to see so they don't blend in the darkness.. Any help would be appreciated

A lot of clients support something called fullbright skins which basically removes the effects of dark areas/shadows on player skins.

I'm not 100% sure because I don't use QRACK , but I think it's something like cl_fullbright 1 or something, R00k would know

NO!!!!!!!! YOU DO USE QRACK! JK.

Qrack doesn't support fullbright player skins SIMPLY because it's a damn hack!

Try gl_lightmode 2 as this will bump up the light level on all textures a little bit.

Or try cl_teamskins 1 and r_outline 1 to help clarify your image.

Edit, I use gl_contrast 1.8 and gl_gamma 0.5
