Server's back up as of 12:21 am. I have decided to keep the newly built computer running, crunching WCG rather than idly sitting in a corner somewhere. Of course, this brings added stress to the electrical system... I am now running 4 computers in my room, my overclocked gaming rig, the new pc, the server, and the laptop. There's a fifth in my mom's room. I hope the system doesn't get overloaded once someone runs the microwave or the stove or something... at least it's winter time and nobody's running AC.

The server's going to be down all night. I am building a computer for a relative, and I put that computer in place of the server. I worry about running 5 computers all at the same time in an apartment...

I put the server back on a wired connection (was using Wireless G before). This will lead to a lower, more stable latency for everyone (including myself, heh)

We had a big party yesterday. I had a great time with Gunter, ORL, spooks, kimp (yes, kimp was there, lol), Jammer (The Turk?), and some others.
Remember, The Hub is still around, it's just on port 26001. Gunter likes telling people to go to hub.quakeone.com:26001, but typing fvf.servequake.com:26001 takes you to the exact same place.

FvF is back online!
We've finally got everything ready to make FvF available to the Quake community again. The fvf.servequake.com DNS will still take you to my server; it's been re-assigned to my other DNS which I have control over, so if my IP ever changes, the DNS will still take you to my server.
fvf.servequake.com
port 26000: FvF! fvfonline.com
port 26001: The Hub
port 26002: Travail
port 26003: RquakeLast edited by foq; 02-11-2010, 04:30 AM.Tags: None
