What we need is for players not to do this. Stop running to the message boards asking for bans. This place is starting to sound like a middle school.

First, why would the mod of speaknow believe you? Hopefully the mods of the current quake servers still around are not that stupid and would just ban people because a random player said to.

Second, if this guy was being a prick, maybe he was having a bad day, who knows. I dont think something is ban worthy unless there are a few repeatable offensive events that were proven to have taken place. Im not defending him, but rather defending against a wreckless ban hammer being wielded by you.

I think the Green Team should just be removed. When you think about it, when is there ever a situation that calls for a green team?

Also there is the issue with abusing Color Changing. To prevent abuse a system similar to CA+ could be used where a person cannot CC freely. This system would have rules to check for before a player could CC to a team.

Rules:
1. CC'ing allowed if it further balances teams
-- If teams are 2v1, 4v2, or 2v1v1 a player could CC to any team with less players

2. CC'ing to create new team allowed only if other teams are already balanced.
-- If teams are 1v1, 3v3 or 4v4 they could create a third team

The rules are fairly simple and would be effective.
