Hi. I've been playing Quake for years now, but have only just recently gotten into customizing it with things like hi-res textures, new models, and skins.
While looking at all of these I noticed that for some monster and item skins, there are gloss, Luma, Normalmap, and bump files in addition to the standard ones for one particular thing. What's the difference between all these and are they all necessary?
