    ProQuake 4.44 links not working - Trying to get QRACK prob fixed on chi

    The link for the PQ 4.44 is not working on quakeone.com/proquake.

    We discovered this when trying to reinstall the chicago killzone server with a fresh copy with the latest stuff.

    I'll go with the 3.9 again, any suggestions on what to do for QRack to work properly on the server?

      Maybe some Quake something or rather I've installed in recent history had a virus.

      Addressing this issue ...

      (Just to be sure ... I've temporarily removed all the recent ProQuake updates from the archives until I can check this out ... pending ...)

          I'm sure it was intentional. I gave that Baker guy a piece of my mind. He apologized and said he would never "epic fail" again. true quote.

            R00k's virus scan found a virus in a ProQuake source file. Not actual ProQuake, but one of the miscellaneous .exe files that is used to build ProQuake in the source code.

            Right now, I'm checking things out and I taken the recent ProQuake files offline until I can confirm everything is fine.

                  Rook, looking like a hero, now claims "Qrack - Has never caused, been found to have, or created a virus! Plus the GFX own! D/L NOW!"

                  I'll bet rook put that virus in that proquake file, which is being explained wasn't in the proquake file... i smell a conspiracy.

                    My wife watches more law and order (and the spin-offs) than anyone on this planet. I basically have my detective's badge, district attorney bar-free privilege to practice, 14 premeditated alibis, voted Most Valuable Jury candidate in 2009 by my peers (3rd year in a row), and last but not least if needed I can be called upon as a stand-in Judge.

                      Heheh. Just wait until R00k makes a mistake and makes a Qrack that accidentally formats your hard drive!
