Possible ? Doom music serverside quake?

I wondered if it's possible to get permission from ID software, to have doom music, on our quake servers online, to like play random tracks via, the server-side, maybe even a mix track, that goes thru a few select doom tracks, while we quake....

Like when u connect to the server, the server auto-sends the music to the client for the map, doom music.

An doom music does work well with quake, i tried looping midi's in winamp b4 and it ruled.

I just wanted a lazier solution, thus the idea of having server-side doom music for our quake maps.

Think that's plausible? or not?

I know it's kinda silly, but hey doom music is cool. ^^

If you own a version of Doom and own a version of Quake, you can mix match media all you want as long as you dont copy it for others. This server-side idea is not really that, you are just sending files to the client that it doesnt have. So, breaking copyright laws, unless id allows it. I smell a Lerster midi album in the works
