Who deleted the latest thread by Mindz. Incase anybody is wondering. That's nonsense. Normally, never, ever, EVER, EVER, would I undermine another admins actions, but Mindz you are simply going too far, and I even told you on the server the other day that you are going overboard. You are a site admin, please act as such. You are creating more problems in this community than the man you so persistently try to stop. Never in a million years would another one of us admins do one of those posts. Pass worded or not. You truly need to look at how you are doing things, because you're making the community lose members.

Phocus used to cheat, Neil used to cheat, hell, I even cheated once upon a time for fun, but nobody has ever tried to roadblock us from continuing in the community. And what he did as far as against Baker, was 100% wrong, but as I just said, you are creating more problems than there ever were with this constant paranoid action. I ask you as a fellow site admin who wants nothing but positive for this community, to please grow up.

If how the TDM community wants to run their games,full of doubt and garunteed hacks (Kimp,3+ years,time says I'm right) then so be it, I've really reached the end of my rope with piss ant's not minding the community harboring cheating piles of hacks like kimp, then I think it's time I move to greener pasture's.

This community has had my devotion for a long time ,but as you can tell, I've got no problem being that admin who "lost it" because a known cheater was allowed to continue remain amongst your midst,no matter what his efforts. Last night as prime example....


I never used cheat's unless straight shaft counts,then sure w/e. It came from BryanT, then again I wasn't crutching on automated timers,wallhacks,and bots either.

You cheating X amount of years ago,back when Quake was a much healthier supply of players, isn't relevant to 2009-PRESENT cheaters,case in point you've become an admin,and wouldn't tolerate kimp under any circumstances if I know you as well as I think I do , chad.

Kimps been the most disrespectful of "GG" ethics in this community ever since like 1/3rd of the Q1 community quit playing when Antiwallhacks was released. He deserves to be roadblocked or railroaded. He isn't worthy of the precious invaluable commodity known as Quake1. I equate him to some nutzoid muslim burning my flag over sea's. Yes, MAD BRAH.

Yes, you did go overboard. There are a number of avenues in which you could of got your point across, especially without calling the community names because of your beliefs. I highly doubt any of them agree there should be a cheater amongst the crowd, but because you think it, doesn't give you the right to call names and such as you have because they don't do what you want.

As well, there is much more going on in these forums than just this topic, but somehow, you sit and dwell on that one issue. If you support the community, then do as such.

Kimp's getting some games of TDM in right now, I don't have time for other things. I'm also watching Ice Road Truckers.


This TDM community that I hurl insults at, for the most part, consist of 75% of players who know who kimp is,and choose to "feed the animals" so to speak. Feed a stray, they're gonna stay. Choosing to play with kimp is an insult to the Administration of the entire north american "NetQuake" community, and those who are insulting the common sense of the over all majority of quake players are the same 75% of DM players who wish to turn the other cheek about a known cheater.

I for one refuse to accept a world where kimp is allowed to remain, like right now.

I'm an outside element in this, that's going to mean what I add here might be skewed, un-informed, or just plain full of kaka. but I'll do my best to avoid it.

I never dealt with Kimp, I mainly play Q1 singleplayer, and the times I've joined online with all of you I've had a total blast. (and been blasted through plenty of walls).

From what I can see, the online aspect of Q1 has sort of become like a inner city basketball court frequented by a small but supportive group of people. Sometimes an outsider comes in for a few pickup games and all is well.

Then a few guys come along who ball-hog, are constantly penalized for traveling, posture and pick fights with others, and generally make themselves highly recognizable nussiances. The response from the regulars is varied. Some ignore them, some deal with them, some rail feverishly about their poor sportsmanship to the point that they get on phones, make threats, draw guns.

From the drama of unscrupulous players comes the secondary ripples in the varied opinions of the regulars. In the end, this usually causes everyone to get so fed up with each other they all walk away and leave the court to rust and rot.

Cheaters suck, especially attention-hungry ones. But the shit they stir can be more toxic than their own behaviors. I dig all you guys, I love quake. I love the work you're all doing to help keep this godforsaken ball court in shape. Keep doing what you're doing, but remember it's not curing cancer or feeding the homeless. It's a videogame on a computer screen and its for fun.

I take no prisoners, I'm sorry you feel that I'm not in line with what you deem acceptable.

@Amon , you describe this situation to a T, except I've been one of a handful of REF's ,and lately the players ignore the foul calls,traveling calls, and so on. There is chaos on my courts, and if stirring a shit storm of drama takes care of buisness,then well, I guess buisness is gonna get dirty.

It's not a suggestion, and if more admins were around I'm almost 100% sure they'd agree, you calling the community names is down right distasteful. You are acting like a child right now. If you can't get your words out without intentionally cutting people down, then you really shouldn't have ever been given admin on this site. I feel like a fool for even responding to the fact that you think it's ok to call names. Baker himself will tell you that name calling is not allowed on this forum, as well as flaming. You are doing both.
