I did homework on whitlock without banning anyone, don't get it twisted.His ip was showing up FROM philadelphia, so get your facts straight. He himself concluded that him being from JACKSON,MS it was indeed odd. I to this day think you,and him,are full of shit,and just angry that I know the community like the back of my hand. I have near ZERO (99.5% success) failure rate of de-kimping servers,and until DM.QUAKETX.COM came around, It wasn't a problem.

Kimp has tried impersonating server-owners by emailing server host's and trying to get his ban's lifted by means of REQUEST THROUGH SPOOFED EMAIL's. Flooding players,impersonating quakers online,and evading bans,and the fucking list goes on and on. He created a ProQuake hack against all odds and Baker sue'd this cat. Why dont you just slap Baker in the face right to his face instead of dodging all these facts and own up to YOU'VE BEEN in the wrong for a long time now.

For the record, many of you *do* act like lunatics over k1mp - Mindzx accused whitlock of being kimp not long ago without doing the appropriate amount of research. There have been many other instances of this ridiculousness. Many of you have let his presence haunt you on such a personal level. If you want to ban him from your server, then ban him - that's fine. If people want to play with him, that's fine too. Some people play with him and some don't. What is it to you? You guys act like Kim Jong Il of North Korea.

When I first brought up dm.quaketx.com, I had like 5 immediate PM's urging me to 'get on board' and outright ban k1mp. Geez. I gotta tell you, that kind of thing made me not want to ban him at all. Really, you guys act like some sort of quake magistrates or imperial sultans of everything quake. There's an old saying.."Give a man an inch and he thinks he's a ruler", and I find that to be quite applicable to certain admins in this community. Furethermore, you all deal in absolutes, ie: Anyone who plays with kimp is "kimp's lackey", or "you're a bleeding heart" if you play with kimp or have any form of defense for him at all. And really, no one is defending kimp, they are simply defending themselves from this absurd form of deriding anyone who plays with or actually likes k1mp.

Frenzy is the only one who recognized his mistake and apologized, yet the two of you refuse to admit a wrongdoing, pointing out that Muller deserves what he got - sounds like a classic case of Napoleon Complex. And now we find ourselves with one of the admins calling for Muller to be on the ban list with k1mp. This is all so f'n draconian. Well of course because it's central and smooth as silk but also because the guy is level-headed and doesn't run around like a lunatic everytime someone joins the server who "might" be Kimp. When Kimp needs banning, he is banned. End of story. He is also technologically adept, something you admins-at-large could seriously use some help with when tracing IPs. Yes, Kimp lives in Philly and uses proxies, not DSL based in Socal. But good effort.

Not confined to your cute little TDM effort, I don't care if one server operator or two server operators decide "Kimp's Okay" to be on their server. Just because a handful see things differently, doesn't mean the majority will all of a sudden be on board with the same ethical choices reached by Tremor & others.

But the banes started once we left for Zero when R00k asked for help testing his DM classic mode. But thanks for chipping in. It's always a big help for an admin to suggest that any player name you don't recognize is "probably" Kimp.
