Generally, when people talk about online gaming, they want to avoid the hypocrisy... From my experience, I know that some people have a tendency to bash noobs. Why do some people always pick on noobs? These people are hypocrites because THESE PEOPLE used to be noobs themselves. Everyone used to be a noob (obviously, I used to be a newbie). Maybe some people are just having a bad day and they like to bully others on the internet. Misery loves company. I find that it's best to just ignore these punks. But I'm just guessing... I DON'T really know the answer. So why do some people hate noobs?

Go look at the post under 3wave CTF, rather than dump another truckload of questions, how bout revisiting the ones you have already postulated!

Mario hits 99% of gamers at a way younger age than Quake. The statement can be true within say, 2000-2006 if EVER.

@Shadowswift - still waiting for that rune guide, it's only been 2 years, 2 months and 10 days. Must be one hell of a guide. You could have hand-copied the bible at this point.

I am not very experienced when it comes down to Quake Multi-player. I think that I have come to the right place... Guides to the Game? Sounds good to me!

1. Do statistics really matter in Quake? (e.g.: Flag captures, flag assists, flag defenses, flag recoveries, etc.). Do these statistics matter as much as Sports Statistics? Can statistics be misleading?

2. Consider the following the case... You are taking part in a LAN party. All of a sudden, there's a power outage. What would happen? (Remember... This happened during the Superbowl).

3. Should Capture The Flag provide instant replay? Many sports have instant replay (e.g.: Hockey, basketball, etc.)
