There appears to be an open source Painkeep with TONS of extra delicious crap added in;
Painkeep v2.2 (+Source) mod for Quake - Mod DB

I know Monty LOVES Painkeep to death so if he ends up breaking the sound barrier in 8 time zones don't be too harsh on him,
oh and Europe might have to watch out for the 'White Tide'.

Lol. Thanks guys. Yes it's true, Painkeep and Deathmatch plus are 2 of my favourite fun Quake mods and I one day hope to merge the 2 into a single mod with voteable weapon sets (or pay MH/Rook to do it for me ).

I'm up to my eyes in coding for work at the moment but I'll give this beta a try ASAP (hopefully over the weekend). Thanks Metch.
