Does the ogre have his hands amputated?

he's obviously holding them both in his hands.

its just cuz of the limitations with real low polycount back then that they couldnt add details like hands which show it more obviously.

and he's a fat short ogre, so the hands would be just as big as his arms are thick

beside, if you warp to map e1m3 and turn notarget on and go stand next to an ogre you can see he does seem to have an extra line of polys added which would represent the hand

it also has big hands and barely a line visible between hands and wrist
