Actually, it looks like all e*m1 and e*m2 maps have that symbol in them. Though, the e*m1 maps has it on the walls, except for e4m1 has the crates.Originally posted by MH View PostAll of the e*m2 maps have crates with the symbol on them, actually. That's interesting - some remaining trace of the original "story" or what?

there is little difference from what everyones discussions and chitchat about the ports of Quake.Originally posted by syluxman2803 View Posthas anybody ever ported the maps from console versions of quake to the pc?
I was reading online that Saturn had 4 not seen in PC maps, so I indulged my curiosity a bit further by trying to find some sort of comparison and someone's already did the work
QUAKEXIT.HTM: Quake 1 maps and map interconnections (all platforms) <- Each episode in the Saturn port was given 1 additional map it appears by the name's,and they the last of each episode. They also just blatantly didn't use some of the maps at all from the original PC version...
Purgatorium

Watery Grave

Thats epic o_O
edited : I also seen the Quake II 'strogg' logo at around 2:00 into Watery Grave video, its on all the floating BOXES in the water. really weird! I checked release dates and Quake II for PC dropped on Dec.6th 1997 according to google, and the Saturn Quake1 port was release Oct.31st 1997 so they was in development at the same time. Wonder who is created those 4 maps
Any of you ever recall seeing any Strogg boxes in Q1? HEH...Last edited by Mindf!3ldzX; 10-03-2012, 07:30 AM.
