I also have v1.0 and 2.0 of Shrak, 2.0 has a lot more data.

I have a ton of these CD's too, but it's too hard to tell what is stuff gleaned from BBS's and IDstuff ftp and which is commercially made so I won't share them.

I wouldn't want Clones of the ones with audio tracks anyways and they probably are full of errors and have no offset correction. Then again I am a purist, and want properly preserved things... there are guides to doing it yourself on redump.org forums.

I also collect shovelware discs for most other games like duke nukem 3d, doom, etc...

Not the original games, of course (but you definitely already have them anyway!)...
Interesting you had those CDs in German.

Weren't Duke Nukem, Doom, and the Quakes all banned under that German Anti-Violent Video Game law?

They weren't banned, they were "indexed on list A". Which means you weren't allowed to advertise them and stores were only allowed to sell them after you asked for them and they checked your id.

But as these addon CDs didn't contain the games themselves, stores were allowed to sell them - BUT they often "censored" the game names, to prevent them from being considered advertising.
You can see this on the "ULTRA Level Addon" and "Universe of Levels" covers hgdagon posted.

There were titles that were "properly" banned (indexed on list B), like Wolfenstein for example. Duke, Doom and Quaker weren't. They just weren't allowed to be sold to minors and they couldn't be advertised. That's it.

To be put on list B and therefore be banned, the game would have to contain unconstitutional symbols and/or forbidden forms of pornography. German indexing system actually is pretty sensible most of the time, I think.
The worst thing I can be is the same as everybody else. I hate that.

I recall the Aftershock cover... I owned it at one point. I don't see any evidence I have any files from it still, unfortunately. I don't recall it being noteworthy, but it can't be worse than some of these!

I took a quick peek on ebay and found Q2 Juggernaut:link

I'm a little late to the party, but I've put together a catalog of 75 Quake addon CDs (at current count).

I've also included full file listings on each cd (where available), as well as file listings within zips, paks, exes, etc.The current focus is Quake only (i.e. Quake 1). The catalog is searchable and includes CD covers for almost all CDs.

I'm finding the site super useful for finding old file releases for various Quake archive projects.

I'm still adding CDs all the time, but the pace is slowing. Perhaps we can find the end of this thing? I'd be surprised if there is another ~75 CDs to discover and add.

Some CDs file listings are still missing.

If you have mad leet haxor CD finding skills (especially the German and Russian CDs) we'd be grateful.
