Visually I would say that bbelief's strength comes from the fact that it is done by a single person, and thus it stayed within his flow, as opposed to the team who worked on SoA (despite having excellent mappers).

I need to replay both again sometime, though I recently did replay bbelief, but... I love it. Some of my best, and most Quakey, memories come from that episode. Don't know how he did it...
