                  fuck you could use this for headhunters mod, make a head with the color particles in it at first (to identify it as the master head) and as players bing it heads the model size increases by 1 on the xyz

                          Hello bluntz,

                          1.) no, my skies scroll as they should with rain / snow enabled.
                          It might be a config issue. Plese try my config temporary to see if it works with it.
                          (see DL-link below)

                          2.) a) playing other maps
                          Which maps do you mean ? ID1 or fan-made maps ?
                          I just tested a couple and couldnt find the error.
                          ATTENTION:
                          The only thing that you have to be careful with is, if you play a map with the same name (example: start.bsp),
                          for which you have a rainy start.ent in your ID1/maps folder,
                          than the engine uses that .ent file for the fan-made map "start.bsp" as well !
                          This will lead to chaos of course, because the .ent file does not match the map.

                          Easy solution:
                          Temporary remove/rename the ID1 start.ent file and start the fan made "start" map.
                          Create a .ent file with the command: sv_saveentfile
                          Finish. (the new .ent file will be saved in the fan-made folder)
                          Then you can put back your ID1 start.ent file and everything works (for BOTH maps).

                          This is also the case for mission pack 1 +2:
                          They both have a start map called: "start.bsp"
                          Thats exactly the same name as the ID1 start map.
                          This brings issues with romiīs rtlights as well
                          If you put his ID1-rtlights into ID1 folder, then all mission packīs will use it as well !
                          That will lead to no error, but will make the look of the map completely wired.

                          2.) b) playing other mods
                          Be aware, that if you play a mod, that brings his OWN progs.dat with it, then you will NOT be able to have rain/snow in it.
                          Because the "progs.dat" from the mod overrides IDīs "progs.dat". And it of course does not have LordHavocīs rain/snow code in it.
                          So you cannot create weather effects in these mods/maps.
                          If the source of the mod is included, you can of course do it, by simply following the instructions in post #1 of the TUT.
                          Adding rain/snow code will not harm the mods mechanic at all.


                          I think that these are the issue you are referring to.

                            Yes moving the .ent file worked
                            I was running Kleshik and it wanted to start the hipnotic start.
                            I still have not touched the sky because I want to try those new hires one's I think Ope's working on.

                              Please look into this thread and you will find:
