            The map has a leak.

            Your map must be enclosed on all sides. The void (what's outside the map) must not touch the inside!

            Did you put sky brushes in?

            before you can use a skybox, you must put an actual sky texture in the map. The skybox later overrides the built in sky.

                Skybox to make out, but it looks like a box with clearly visible facets, and so with all the textures which have been adapted for the skybox, so why? I saw where the skyboxes was just the environment but do not box with the textures of the sky.

                    I will gladly help, but I'm also mapping on my own stuff atm, so please have patience

                    Tip: You can ask mapping related questions at func_msgboard; be sure to not make a new thread, post in "Mapping Help" instead.

                    Many mappers hang out there.

                    To put a model in a map, it must be in MDL format and you have to use a mod like Quoth because standard Quake does not allow that.
