    Although there needs to be some quick testing of some final changes, the RQuake Team Cooperative mod by RocketGuy running at coop.runequake.com:26003 (get the maps) is completely debugged with some outstanding new features.

    ProMode

    ProMode is a CRCTF-style on-screen display of monsters killed vs. monsters required to be killed to finish the map. RQuake requires 75% of monsters to be killed to exit.

    After this requirement is met an "E" appears and the display changes to monsters killed vs. total monsters.

    To turn on ProMode, type pro-toggle in the console.

    If you prefer ProMode to always be on, add alias init "pro-toggle" to your config and it will automatically be turned on when you connect to the server.

    End of Map Stats

    Statistics print at the end of any completed map, displaying the main mod settings, time the map was completed and the list of players.

    This opens the door for possible competitive play since the server settings can verified to be "standard".

    Speed Run Mode

    Vote-speedrun has been added to the commands. This will strip all players of all items, armor, ammo, etc. upon the start of a new map.

    When turned on, this will allow 2 different teams of players (either on separate servers or taking turns on the same server) to start on the same page.

    Similiar to vote-match in deathmatch mods, where players are stripped of all possessions.

    If Speed Run mode is on, an "S" appears in the ProMode display and the end of map statistics will indicate that Speed Run mode was on. Speed run mode cannot take effect mid-map.

    It also turns off 2 minutes after all players exit the server.

    Gib Filter prevents big maps from choking due to free edicts
    Per player stats in Deathmatch style scoreboard
    Radar to assist in locating other players
    Radar indicates other players' health and armor
    The flashlight (require cells)
    Quadded and Pented players have symbols above them (BDA style)
    Observer Mode (ride/watch other players play)
    Vote Map capability with support for 200+ maps (RuneQuake style)
    CUSTOM command lists all maps available on the server
    Works with maps that do not normally support cooperative play
    More powerful monsters
    More interesting play
    Messages display when keys are obtained, doors opened, door open failure
    RuneQuake-style admin controls
    Qsmack Support
    Spawn bias towards info player start

    Power-ups make play more interesting and more fun ...

    Aborption Field - Reduces damage to you by 50%.
    Assault Cannon - Constant restock of rockets, rocket launcher does increased damage.
    Assault Power - Increases your weapon's power by 100%.
    Engineer - Repair armor for others.
    Explosives Specialist - Fire bombs. Take cover. Don't worry, this won't hurt your friends, but it can hurt YOU.
    Fusion Cell Reactor - Constant recharge of cells for lightning gun.
    Human Torch - Set monsters on fire. Weapon 4 is your flame thrower. Lava immunity.
    Impervious Shield - Activate for 10 seconds of total protection. Long recharge time.
    Medic - Heal others and yourself.
    Regenerative Suit - Your armor is self-repairing and you slowly heal.
    Singularity Mine - Deploy a strong gravitational field that causes chaos for most monsters.
    Stealth Technology - Visible to your friends, invisible and silent to your enemies (the monsters)
    Vortex Inductor - Set one off and hide. Everything it sucks in DIES!
    Accumulate XP while playing, subtle increases to weapons you spawn with to keep action flowing as a large map progresses. Standard coop would require you to run all over the map on field trips to get weapons if you die with 160 of 190 monsters killed.

    Get poisoned in slime. Catch on fire in lava. Hell Knight can set you on fire. Monster insta-gib on contact with lava and slowly die in slime.

    Be colors 14 and 15. Always nice.

    RQuake Team Cooperative is a GPL and Open Source mod based on RQ 1.0 by Slot Zero. The source code and special pre-compiled server engines (with source changes) will be available in the near future for both hosting this type of server and for personal LAN play.

    Forgot to add:

    Optional IP Masking built into mod, controlled by cvar. All important on public servers. (Idea came from chatting with Bam last night and I relayed the idea to RocketGuy).

    New glow effects on keys, additionally multiple players can pick up keys.

    Scores reset every map for GameStatus.Net play ranking compatibility.

    Map resets to a designated map, in the case of coop.runequake.com:26003 it is the "intro" map, 2 minutes after last player leaves the server.

    This way players always arrive with a fresh start instead of connecting to a server and finding a half cleared map (often a hard map someone gave up on), which isn't very convenient, especially if the player is playing the mod for the first time and doesn't know the commands. <--- code courtesy of Lardarse!
