But with BIG business involved they want to lock up all the content indefinitely. That way they can keep rehashing the same idea's over and over and... if anyone is "caught" infringing well... money for nothing.

EX: You now why in movies or at restaurants they don't sing "Happy Birthday to You"? Because it is bogusly copyrighted and you have to PAY! The song brings in TEN MILLION a year, WTF!

Happy Birthday to You: The Lawsuit - Forbes

I'm pretty fuckin sure cardboard cutouts of Quake models ain't hurting friggin' Id, Zenimax or anyone else related. It's just that our way of thikning of these things is fucked up.
Hmmm... echoing vehemence. That means you cash in yourself... yes it's kinda shatty; but in the end... capatalism is still better than communism (on a continental scale it fails, hard. When is pared down to small village sized groups it can do spectacularily well), better than socialism (which is just the retarded younger brother of communism), and far better than cannabalism.

I like capatalism, I like America, I like pie.
    Any fricking flavor of pie.

But with anything good there will be a down side. Crony capatalism... makes me vomit. Does that make the system bad? No it means there are dumb shats out there; and that's nothing entirely new. Although... I agree, copyrighting genetics-freaky fucking stuff. That kind of stuff gives me chills.

But I must say again, one more time: THIS PROJECT WAS FOR THE FANS. Not to make money; that was never the intention.

There is a Vore papercraft available on my site. I didn't do Chthon papercraft because I felt the model was incomplete. As much as I like ID - I think they took a deliberate shortcut. Upper body and no lower body? So I make the papercraft and then have a disembodied torso sitting on my desk?

...maybe I should start a poll. If I get enough responses, perhaps I'll work on Chthon. I was working on Armagon... then lost momentum. What do you think MadGypsy? Any other models you would like to see in papercraft?

hmmm.... nah, I just want a Chthon. I could easily print a little lava "placemat" and put Chthon on top of it. Voila', suitable Chthon.

Damn, I just cut the biggest fart ever. Smells like it too.

I don't know how to get to your site. I checked your profile... nada. Which also made me wonder ... Why am I your only friend?

Quakeroot is cool, man. He makes paper models and seems like a laid back guy. He's also been around a while. Y'all should be his friend.

If nobody befriends you, it's OK. I'll be your best friend, ever.
