    Friends I love quake
But cant seem to abandon .exe
Looking for the day when one operating sys fits all,
tried to install Vine years ago and failed
enjoying two more years of integrated programming.
It may be sad the day i realize i want windows back.
any fix for this in our time?

I think he means he's a linux user and thus isn't using the '.exe' format. And instead of vine I think he means wine. Which allows you to run windows executables in a linux environment.

      But I may be wrong.

Assumed he was a spam bot at first glance, but it looks more like someone who's native language isn't English. I concur with OMac.

aGL there are quake engines native to Linux.
