I don't know if these particular lyrics apply...mostly because they were never intended to be lyrics in th first place but, I'm always being compared to staind. Which I actually hate and consider bullshit, considering I've been doing me long before staind was an anything other than a misspelled word.

e: I don't really agree with the comparison. I don't think staind writes their songs revolving around stuff like Eb Hungarian Minor or 1,7,2,5 progressions, and I'm not hearing a guitarist in staind separating his hands in such a way to play the rhytmn with a pick while simultaneously playing the melody with any remaining fingers. But according to way too many people, I am similar to staind.

I do sing in about the lead singers same slow rhythmn but, generally either much deeper or much higher. I hardly think vocal timing is enough to compare the entirety of my songs to this band on.
