why 10+ posts to edit?

It just doesn't make sense? All forums should have the ability to edit straight away. I don't understand why it isn't from 0 posts...

What type of editing are you talking about? You can edit post all day long but you can not edit you're sign in name if thats what you mean. In the mean time you should delete all these unwanted post.

a while back, there was a persistent problem with bots, so solecard made the 10 post minimum.

Forum: a place, meeting, or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.

The very definition of forum doesn't include the word edit.

As R00k and Syluxguy28O3 said.... forum got hit with spam bots. Setting 10 post minimum solved that issue.
