hey guys so i got quake 1 with darkplaces engine with some mods to make it even more hd and it freezez when it loads to the first world boss chton.can anyone help me

Find a better single player engine, delete your mods and play Quake.
I think that should do it. -
Darkplaces is fine for Quake single player.
Some of your mods are probably incompatible. Try removing some mods until the problem stops, so you can figue out which mod causes it.
You might want to try only Darkplaces + Small Mod Collection and then add only harmless things such as custom textures or skins.
Perhaps it is also a cvar problem or a problem with your DP version. I'm sure someone will be able to help you.Comment
