Ok, As follows:
I can create the locs in game just fine. When I do loc_save I get a message saying that the loc file could not be created.
Here's what I've done.
Inheritable write permission for my user account on the Quake folder (every child folder has the same)
I've run qrack as administrator and in Compat mode.
I noticed that in windows 7, you cannot uncheck the "read only" attribute for files/folders if you uncheck the box. You have to use the command line to clear the attribute. It's a special thing in Win7 that ony win7 programs can get around - but if you use compatability mode, this shouldn't be a problem.
Also, Qrack CAN write configfiles..
Still, nothing works. I'm going to try to clear the read-only attribute and see if this works. Any ideas off the top of your heads?
