  • RCON for MS-based server

So far I've only found the Linux version. Does a remote control package exists for Windows servers?

If you run ProQuake as the server, just set an rcon password by typing the following in your client (ProQuake, JoeQuake or Qrack) ...

    rcon_password "mypassword"

And then you can execute server commands from a client.

    rcon changelevel e4m8

Make sure the rcon password is also in the server autoexec.cfg.

DarkPlaces has this feature too, but currently only DarkPlaces clients can do rcon for DarkPlaces server and DarkPlaces client can't rcon ProQuake server.

The operating system doesn't matter, these work for all versions of ProQuake and DarkPlaces servers.
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...
