      Hey Sean,
      Would you have any time to put up a vid showing some of your new efforts. I do realize some of them are not complete, but your screens are looking good. I'd like to use your Nexuiz particle font with old wizard spike and old rocket trails (at least less smoke) in Seven's fantastic small mod compilation 3.1. Can you help there?

        this effectinfo should work with the nexuiz particlefont and Seven excellent mod.


        this info is beta and has new blood/explosion/decals/sparks.

            Love the new effects! I noticed the glow when I fired grenades..cool! New particles on explosions are great! What do I need to change in your effectinfo to get the old green wizard spike from the original effectinfo? Other than that I love it! Great work!

                  I'm going in to your effectinfo now and am going to experiment a bit with some things so that I can learn more. I'm still not quite ready in my mind to tackle bigger things like the ent files, but I'm working towards it thanks to the kindness of people on this forum.

                    Edit: link removed

                    It was too early too show. Explosion looked nice but still had small performance issues. One can make spectacular but not exagerated blood splatters with this particlefont, but it was not there yet, looked great most of the time but sometimes there was too much or too little blood.

                        I've tried to replace the Hellknight distance attack effects in your effect info to go back to Seven's original, but keep missing something. Could I ask you to change that for me please? I'd be very obliged to you.

                          I realized that previous attempts were too half-assed to bother people with them. Still WIP but I am at least satisfied with blood now. Decals are meant to stay long with high "cl_decals_time" value, this is why they are smaller and alpha blended to not obfuscate level textures too much.

                          Blood splatters often appear on walls and ceiling when you gib something with explosives, quad ssg, or shot something next to wall.

                          There are also WIP explosion, grenade and rocket trails, and small touches to other effects, SMC 3.1 was a starting point.

                            I like your blood effect passerby. If I had more knowledge I'd patch together all of the effects I like into my own effectinfo, but I'm not that good yet as is evident by my last request to Sean. He'll get tired of me real soon I'm afraid

                              ive been working on a snowy sparks effect and its not bad.

                              this is what i have so far...maybe someone can help me improve it.


                              i based mine on the fast sparks of a nexuiz weapon.
