  • Phenom Rocketjump Compilation

    Whatsup guys/gals/other,

Here's a rocketjump compilation I've been working on for the past few weeks. Its based on 2 maps, DM3 & q3dm6qw demonstrating some pretty standard jumps and maybe some jumps that not a lot of people have seen or can preform. Either way I encourage some of you to learn any techniques you can from this video and integrate it into your play style.

I really like the physics in Quake, it allows player to have an almost matrix like quality when playing and lets not forget about rocket jumping I hope future games figure out that its not about how realistic something it but how fun it is to play!

With that said I'm interested in your comments, please no trolls.

I rarely like music in demonstrations however this is the exception.
    I loved it.

my favorite was the rj+nade xplode in air jump at os to window.. the gravity or something looked tweeked on some of those on q3dm6qw but i could be wrong.. either way good compilation... the slow motion stuff was a cool touch.

The music was made by The Tornado Twins a.k.a Double Dutch (They're dutch) You can find their Youtube channel here: YouTube - ‪TornadoTwins's Channel‬‏ I was going to give credit to them in the video but i forgot.

The physics were stock with no alterations maybe other then the fact I'm using Qrack which to me makes the mouse feel smoother.

All the Rocket jumps are self learned with an exception to the very first rocketjump in the video, Turtlevan introduced me to that jump.
