Does anyone know where I can find custom models I want some not so blocky player models and all other models

MD3 models for quake with bump and specular maps:

no player model

these require joequake or better

they will only work out-of-the-box with tenebrae.

they look best in darkplaces.

if you want some non-md3 models baker will be with you shortly.

Canadian Sniper and RocketGuy provided some very good links. I don't have anything user-friendly and ready to go at this time, but at some point I will.

You can always go to the 24 bit texture section and use the Dark Angel replacement model or the Plague's Pak in the downloads section or just use the stuff on http://www.quakeone.com/qrack

What I don't like about replacement models is how difficult they are to use overall. I have solution for that, but it isn't done.

There was another set of monster models somewhere but I couldn't find them anywhere in these forums. I think Spirit or Scar3crow showed them on the forum once. I don't know :-/

We should get Lardarse to search for the models (I remember a pic of a shambler). He is the Lord of the Runes after all
