Newbie bitching

I havent played quake in over 7 years and thought I would try to get back into it so I came here to see whats been goin on. The one thing I see the most is people bitching about newbies on every server and someone wanting quake to be fixed. When I logged on i expected quake to be dead yet alone seeing shmack is still around. So I pose this question. If it werent for the newbies would quake1 still be around? Would shmack still be full at least once a day leading those newbies to dredd and rage and the other servers trying to gain popularity. Its amazing how serious ppl get over one of the best games of all times. Stop all the newbie bitching and why not teach them so quake lives on! I have yet to see any of my old quakers, example..

i dont see anyone bitching about newbies. they are just easy frags, whats wrong with that. calling someone a newbie is just shittalk and it aint gonna go away. Cherrie, Urdead, CrazyCracker, and Ezjack still play on shmack often
