Nice map Dreadful!

Don't let those small group of guys try to push DM3 on your server! Its fun every now and then but DM3 constantly is what Rage is for. Not every CAX server has to run DM3 because theres some asshole breathing down your neck saying how much they hate 90% of the maps except DM3.

If they want DM3 send'em to Quake 1's version of purgatory (a.k.a Rage)

Sounds like you need a special Slot Zero engine customization that lies about your ip address allowing you play anonymously

And yes, there is nothing as annoying as players discussing server setup while you are on the server. Just tune it out and ignore all of the comments

yes, if you are 50 years or older you will be charged more for the porn service but you will be served "Ultra Porn" instead of the regular or hardcore porn.

From what I saw yesterday, those who had a problem with the server were the usual troublemakers. I think the general consensus is that the server is awesome.

Don't let a few dildos' opinions outweigh those of us who love the server!

Keep the server anyway you like it, its yours anyway. Server kicks ass, I dont care how the settings are, its better than rage.

Great server, and I love the new map DM_III.bsp, its absolutely beautiful.

And if we keep playing it, I might be convinced to stay in Quake and keep playing.

Everyone download this map from the Quakeone.com/maps section, don't click any banners, just go down to the bottom. At the top of the list (should be the first one) download DM_III.bsp

At first I thought you were introducing a newbie map. Until I realized it was really well constructed and has a bit of everything.

There are a ton of bridges making it fun and challenging to aim and hit without much splash. So those of us who are pure aimers will enjoy this map more.

There are MANY open areas and rooms where fighting can occur, and camping will be reduced greatly by the fact there are so many entrances, and cut off points to get into areas, as well as to get behind people.

I found the map extremely easy to learn after my first 2-3 times of playing, and already being able to play it at a high level.
I was able to get around people and cut them off from running with great ease, it was such a relief to the constant running around and chasing that DM3 offers. I really believe this could be the new map everyone wants to play, in my mind it has that kind of potential.

It's really CA friendly, there are lots of walls to jump off of, and challenging new trick jumps with ascending bridges. There are also two nifty water areas, one is small and mermaids cannot use the swim up and down function due to splash, so a conventional side to side technique is actually more effective for once. Additionally, there is a second water area, which is VERY vast and has almost no splash making it really fun and challenging to keep directing the other player. This is hands down the funnest map I've played in a while in terms of Clan Arena.

In terms of a larger amount of players, no longer will we be stuffed into small areas and forced to spam teammates to death. The rooms are grand and make 12-16 players a must.

Noiz was one of the people who mentioned the "invisible wall". There was another guy that went nuts about the wall too.

I think it had to do with one of the clients they were using (I want to say Qrack). I was playing with DP and the wall was there.
