I ping 80-90ms. Even if more people choose to play there, it does not bother me because I doubt that I will be playing for that much longer (at least TDM). Also, I have my FPS turned up to 400, so my real-time ping is probably higher than reported on the server unless the "pq_maxfps" console command does indeed lower your real-time latency. Poor TV probably pings 130-150+, so if he plays any at all on that server he will be switching places with "minduim" and possibly "scorpion" as far as latency goes.

Hmm thats wierd, are you able to ping the server? Try using the ip 72.5.152.111:26000

Finally able to connect. Don't know why it didn't work before.

I ping 100-110 here... But I live in San Francisco, so I guess it makes sense.

You west coasters have some crazy routing. I live in florida and play a few different games, i ping 50-80 on almost any server out west on 12/3 mbps dsl. Now euro/dutch/sweden/austrailia and brazil servers i ping 110-170. I did have dmwest in cali but had problems with the host saying my server conflicted with other games. I doubt it much but i moved it to vadm in virginia..
