Playing as an enforcer in quake

I think it would be cool, especially when you don't have to worry about slime and drowning.
I thought about this idea years ago.
The laser would be the weakest weapon, while you would have a knife (replacement of the axe).

You might try keeping your eye open for a RuneQuakeplus server which allowed you to player as a number of different characters (Shambler, Spawn, Vore, etc). Usually this was via picking up a rune by could also be be jumping in to the body of a monster conveniently left for you at strategic locations around the map...

I happen to know there is normally an RQP server at flanders.servequake.com:26003 but that sadly appears to be down at the moment. Let's hope this is just temporary as I know somebody else that wants to try it.
