I can confirm that, I don't play Quake all that much. To me, it always was more like a set of legos to make stuff with.

Now, if you could build Quake with legos, then I would give you money.
Whenever I think of Quake, I think of the possibilities for mods, then I work on it for about 3 days, then I give up and spend the rest of the time playing Quake...
You might say I'm not productive but at the same time you could say that I have somewhat of a life... (which I don't, btw).
