I don't think there was any need for someone to point out that doom's graphics are crappy But I guess that's why Ejs-Doom is leaving Quake. All those hours people put into advanced quake engines couldn't please him <: [

Doom doesn't have crappy graphics, it has old graphics. Aged. Sprites, linedefs and sectors aren't enough for some people. Given time those with the same mindset will shudder at the screenshots of Oblivion. Now TekWar? That had crappy graphics, I remember thinking it looked like crap when it was brand new.

Doom still looks fine to me, because the art is good (and by the same guys who did Quake's, Quake2's and Q3A's art).

I've played Doom 1 and Doom on a Modern PC,(using mods such as chocolate doom) and it looks like ass

However it was awesome when it came out 1993
