WinQuake or maybe even DOSQuake supported 3d glasses (according to the docs).
FitzQuake has some sort of r_stereo cvar that I guess does this.
If this is what you are talking about ... I've never seriously tried either so I don't know how well it does/doesn't work.Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.
So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

DarkPlaces has this feature as well.. i tried it.. it does work, kinda, but its only fun for about 5 minutes.. worth a try tho if you happen to have them filter glasses..

Thx : ) I figured most would. Yeah my dream is to have a head tracking HMD (vr headset) and have a quake setup with location aware sounds, and stereoscopic processing.
I want to add eyetrackers to the HMD and have the game zoom in when your retina gets bigger (tries to focus) and adjust a bit when your eyes look around.
Then have a vr gun that tracks, and recoils when you shoot.
I gotta buy the stupid helmet first.

With everything thats built into Quake to begin with, I don't think it would be that hard, but I cant afford a helmet yet.
